MCCW was founded in response to a clear and growing need within the military Church:
Catholic women in military life often face frequent relocation, separation, and isolation, limiting consistent access to faith formation and community.
Recognizing this gap, MCCW was established to provide:
- Continuity of formation across duty stations
- Stable Catholic community amid constant transition
- Intentional leadership development for women serving Church and country
From its beginning, MCCW was envisioned not simply as a support network, but as a mission-driven apostolate, forming women to be a faithful and visible presence of Christ within military communities around the world.
What Makes MCCW Distinct
Integrated with the military Church: MCCW works in collaboration with chaplains and military Catholic structures.
Mission-focused: MCCW is centered on Catholic identity and formation, not social networking alone.
Global by design: Built for women who move often and live between worlds.
Leadership-oriented: We form women not only to receive support, but to lead, mentor, and evangelize.
